First, I want to say. I drove 3 hours to see LP. I stood in the rain, I stood in the hail, I braved the lightning and the sun (with no sunscreen, resulting in a trip to the medical staff to get some). I paid ridiculous amounts of money for food, and souvenirs, and I got some free schwag. I stood, packed like a sardine, into the pit. And I wouldn't trade a second of it for anything. Nothing quite like being RIGHT AGAINST THE RAIL in the CENTER OF THE STAGE at an LP concert. Is there? Be jealous.

I got the best freakin b-day present ever yesterday...my gf surprised me with tix to the show. I had to sell pit tix for the show in Balt back in Feb cause I was sicker then a dog. It freakin' sucked! I couldn't afford tix to Proj Rev & it was totally killin me. So we're in the car yesterday & she hands me a card...with 2 tix to the show in it. I about lost my shit. We had the best damn time. I'm sore and very horse today. It's great!!!! I LOVE LP and LOVE Chester!!! I'm now a huge fan of 10 Years and Chris Cornell. They were amazing!!! OMG...when Chris came off stage near the crowd...we were maybe 2 feet away from him. It was crazy!!!

The concert was great. For some of you complaining about the blankets/bottles/lawn chairs it was by request of the bands. I'm sure you always see youtube videos where some d-bag throws a glass/plastic bottle full of liquid at a lead singer. They were probably doing this to be safe. As far as the blankets, if you had a group of 4-5, they allowed big blankets, if it was just 1-2 people they didn't. Space management. Lawnchairs, same deal. The crowd wasn't really pumped until Linkin Park. I liked some of the bands on the Revolution Stage more than Ashes Divide/The Bravery. Bummed Busta didn't go, anyone know why?

I went and was very displeased!, they were not allowing lawn chairs, any type of bottles like dasani water bottles or any type for that matter, they didn't allow any umbrella's and it had just rained there. they weren't allowing any big blankets to sit on and the ground was wet and muddy. I am just glad I didn't have to pay for the tickets I had. I would have been very pissed off if I had to pay for my tickets. I have been to concerts at nissan pavilion before and there were lawn chairs and water bottles and it was a great concert. project revolution sux!

I was in section 305, row E. I never heard of Chris Cornell before and was pleasantly surprised. He is truly talented. I have heard the name Linkin Park but was not familiar with their music and totally clueless that they were THAT well known. Again, with them, I was pleasantly surprised. The opening to last night's show was simply amazing. All the members of this band are talented, I was impressed that the lead singer was able to sing so well and do more than just make the odd noises that some band lead singers tend to make. So, my first experience with Linkin Park is a live concert and it was wonderful. Looks like I am a new Linkin Park and Chris Cornell fan!!

oh and what's up with the crowd yesterday? it was so lame.. I mean before LP's performance and maybe chris cornell.. they sucked big time.. the bravery deserved some excitement from the audience they were great I got to meet them and actually talked with them for about 5 minutes and the dude watching was like you need to leave now, and they were like " no it's alright "they are soo sweeeeet and we actually talked some more.
